小型沉箱适合于地下水位较高、地下水较多、施工场地狭窄、地下没有特殊障碍物而又不宜大开挖施工的项目。它具有挖土少、占地小、对邻近建(构)筑物影响小等特点。因此,在地下水位较高、场地较小或在已建成厂房内修建储水池、储油池、设备基础等工程施工中经常被采用。 沉箱的施工是边挖土边靠沉箱本身的自重下沉而完成的。在沉箱下沉过程中当遇到上质不均匀、有地下障碍物或出现其他复杂情况时,往往会发生沉降不均、难以控制设计标高及无法进行封底施工
Small caisson is suitable for projects with high groundwater level, more groundwater, narrow construction site, and no special obstacles underground, and it is not suitable for large excavation construction. It has features such as less excavation, small footprint, and small impact on nearby buildings (structures). In the sinking process of the caisson, when uneven quality, underground obstacles, or other complicated conditions are encountered, uneven settlement often occurs, it is difficult to control the design elevation and it is impossible to perform back cover construction.
