我将永远记住这生动的一幕:7月13日夜.北京赢得2008年奥林匹克夏季运动会的主办权的那一刻.我们公司.奥美公共关系国际集团.为了等待申奥的结果正在天安门广场和北京饭店贵宾楼顶层举行“预祝申奥成功”晚会.当晚.会场氛围看似轻松.但如果仔细看,就能从欢笑和狂欢之中察觉到丝丝紧张。那时是晚7点30分左右.申办结果要到晚上10点才会揭晓。虽然绝大多数专家预测北京将以压倒性多数赢得胜利.但直到奥委会主席萨马兰奇先生打开那个白色信封,宣布我们所期盼已久一个词——北京——时.我们仍有些紧张。当结果一揭晓.大家的担心和焦虑立刻就被欢唱庆祝的狂潮一洗而尽.扩音器里开始传出中国国歌的曲调.第一句的“起
I will always remember this vivid scene: the moment Beijing won the right to host the 2008 Olympic Summer Games on the night of July 13. Our company, Ogilvy Public Relations International Group, is waiting for the result of the bidding for Olympic Games in Tiananmen Square and Beijing Hotel At the top floor of the VIP building, we held a party called ”Wish the Olympic Games Succeed." At that night, the atmosphere of the venue seemed relaxing, but if you look closely, you can feel the slightest tension from the laughter and carnival.
