Now that sport has become a huge cultural landscape, there may not be anything more widely appreciated and engaged than it is in the world. Imagine if there was no sport, what would happen to the world? The Chinese sports scene in April and May was so calm and still terrible. “SARS” is destined to become the key word that records the history of 2003 in China. Wherever it went, the Chinese high-speed chariot sports also stopped. Hundreds of races ended at home and abroad: the suspension of the last A, the Women’s World Cup Easy to address, badminton World Championships postponed, East Asian quarter-finals postponed, CCTV’s “Sports News” seems to be the only table tennis preparations for climbing and Everest.
