在西南师范大学教授、著名心理学家刘兆吉的家中，我们看到了他精心保存了六十多年的闻一多、朱自清的两篇手稿真迹（见复印件）。 这两篇手稿，是１９３９年闻一多、朱自清在西南联合大学任教时，为刘兆吉──当时是西南联大三年级学生──编的一部民间歌谣集《西南采风录》写的序文。 闻一多的序文是用毛笔写在一张质地粗糙的厚土纸上。这原是一张西南联大的讲义纸，正面是油印的有关中国话剧方面的讲稿。闻一多是用这张废讲义纸的背面来写序文的。可见当时的物质条件是多么艰苦，闻一多又是多么节约。这份序文手稿显然是第一遍稿，删修增补的痕迹随处可见。刘兆吉还记得当年他到闻一多家取这份序文手稿时的情景。当时闻一多从桌子上拿起这份手稿，一脸歉意的说：“这几天很忙，写完了还没来得及誊清一遍，要不你过二天再来拿，我让助教另抄一份给你。”刘兆吉深怕过多耽误老师的宝贵时间，连连表示感谢，并说这就可以了，不必再费心誊清了，说完拿着这份手稿就告辞了。现在想来，当时幸而没有请他的助教誊清，否则这份珍贵的手稿也许就不复存在了。 朱自清的序文则是用钢笔认真书写在稿纸上的，看得出来这已是一份誊清稿。只不过在誊清时，朱自清又作了少许的修改。 值得一提的是，闻一多、朱自清当时?
