自2004年10月迁钢一期工程竣工投产,迂钢成为首钢总公司发展的重要基地。为了进一步展示首钢的对外形象,不断提高其在社会的知名度,总公司购买迂安市黄台湖3#岛建设首钢迁钢接待中心(由新纪元担纲设计)。黄台湖是迁安历史上最大的人工湖,由6座共878亩人工岛和2798亩水面组成,6座湖内人工岛屿形似莲花,小岛5座,形似五角星,1800米长的钢城大桥连接湖东西两侧并延伸至东西两城区。首钢迂钢接待中心是集会展、酒店、餐饮及娱乐休闲为一体的综合性建筑群,新纪元在全程设计中显示了诸多亮点与创意,记者为此采访了北京新纪元建筑工程设计有限公司董事、总建筑师程大鹏。其在中国国际战略研究基金办公楼、国家体育总局及奥委会办公楼、苹果社区北区、世华国际中心、呼和浩特奈伦总部大厦、国家新媒体产业基地文化创意原创园、北京昌平沙河延秋园别墅等众多项目中担任工程主持人。
