新的历史课程标准所呈现的课程目标与以往的历史教学大纲比,具有以下特点:一是把课程目标分解成“知识与能力”“过程与方法”“情感态度与价值观”三个层面。二是在思想情感教育目标中突破了以往单纯政治教育的层面,注重人文素养和科学精神的培养,把历史教育的社会教育功能与人的发展教育功能结合起来。三是在知识传授中,提出了可操作的具体内容目标。特别是“情感态度与价值观”层面,扭转了以往思想教育中的泛政治教育化倾向,力求全面发挥历史教育的育人功能,丰富学生的情感和精神世界,提升学生的人格道德品位,引导学生学会做人。历史教育要以培养人文精神为目的,这已经成为今天史学界和教育界的共识。课程改革给历史教师带来了生机和动力,使中学历史教学发生很大变化。
