英国剑桥大学最近研制成功一种能加工宝石的机器人,可以使宝石加工的速度和精度大大提高。这种机器人,首先利用高强度激光照射宝石,分析宝石的形状、透明程度、反射和折射性能和宝石晶体的自然对称轴,然后将这些数据输入到计算机中。计算机将利用模糊智能技术分析这些数据得出上千种加工方式,然后从中选择出最佳方案。
Recently, the University of Cambridge, UK, successfully developed a robot capable of processing precious stones, which can greatly improve the processing speed and accuracy of precious stones. The robot first uses high-intensity laser light to illuminate the gemstone, analyzes the gem shape, transparency, reflection and refraction properties, and the natural symmetry axis of the gemstone’s crystal, and then enters the data into the computer. The computer will use fuzzy intelligence to analyze the data to arrive at thousands of processing methods, and then select the best solution.
