1977年在我国大兴安岭地区花岗斑岩型稀有金属矿床中,发现一种具有工业价值的稀土、铍的新矿物。1980年3月将该矿物资料报新矿物委员会,同年五月份获通过。矿物命名为羟硅铍钇铈矿yttroceber-ysite。该单矿物样品存放地质部博物馆。
In 1977, in the granite porphyry-type rare metal deposit in Daxinganling area of China, a new mineral with rare earth and beryllium with industrial value was found. In March 1980, the mineral was submitted to the New Minerals Commission and passed in May the same year. The mineral is named yttroceber-ysite. This single mineral sample is deposited with the Department of Geology.
