尽管我们还不可能到月球上度假,但我们已经进入太空时代。我们的日常生活对卫星技术的依赖程度不断提高。从军事侦察和通讯到电视和汽车导航系统,卫星已经成为现代社会不可或缺的组成部分。然而还有很多人并不知道手机、互联网、取款机、股票市场、很多农场、紧急救援服务以及国家电网也都依赖于卫星,一旦卫星损坏,所有这些都将受到影响,甚至陷入瘫痪。
Although we still can not go on the moon to vacation, but we have entered the space age. The reliance on satellite technology in our daily lives continues to grow. From military reconnaissance and communications to television and car navigation systems, satellites have become an integral part of modern society. Yet many do not even know that cell phones, the Internet, cash machines, stock markets, farms, emergency services and the national grid all rely on satellites, all of which will be affected or even paralyzed if the satellite is damaged.
