Objective To identify and analyze the possible occupational hazards that may occur in a polycrystalline silicon construction project, determine the types of hazards, and predict the harm to the health of laborers. Explore the countermeasures for prevention and occupational health management. Methods The analogy was used to evaluate the occupational hazards of construction projects. Results There are dust, hydrogen chloride, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, hydrogen fluoride, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, noise, high temperature, high frequency electromagnetic radiation, ionizing radiation, power frequency electric field and poor lighting in the proposed project Lighting, prevention and control of key chemical hazards. The site selection and overall layout of the project, the layout of production equipment and the design of occupational disease protection facilities are in conformity with relevant state regulations. Conclusion The proposed protective measures against occupational hazards are basically in line with the national occupational health standards and health requirements. From an occupational health perspective, this project is feasible.
