目前,电火花成形机在工模具生产中的应用已十分普遍,机床的拥有量也十分庞大。但是,如何使老机床重显风彩并使之在投入最小的情况下高效率地加工出高精度的工件,却使广大科技人员颇费踌躇。其实,办法俯拾即是。现介绍瑞士EROWA公司的ISOCUT三维平动头(图1)和ER—1回转分度主轴(图2)两种高效的电火花机床通用附件。ISOCUT三维平动头在电火花机上的加工实例见图3。图3a为三轴同步镗蚀。预先设定开始平动的深度,当火花机主轴下降到这一深度,ISOCUT平动头便自动开始X、Y轴方向平动,平动量与主轴下降高度一致。图3b为用ISOCUT平动头修尖角,ISOCUT可在任何角度单一方向加工,完成清角工作。使用ISOCUT辅助电火花加工,具有明显优点:(1)加工时ISOCUT能带
