维吾尔族是中华民族的重要一员,历史悠久,文化丰富,语言文字完整,翻译成果较多,研究价值极高。维吾尔族翻译活动体现在社会政治、经济贸易、文化教育、军事外交等各个领域。随着时代的变迁,翻译活动时强时弱,其社会地位时高时低,但从未终断。维吾尔族翻译史作为中国翻译史的组成部分应该成为一门重要的研究课题。60多年来,除了零星的翻译史论之外,还没有比较完整的维吾尔翻译史著作问世,这种现象应该引起我们的重视。本文概述了十七年维吾尔族翻译事业的发展历程。
Uyghur people are an important member of the Chinese nation. They have a long history, rich culture, complete language and writings, more translation results and extremely high research value. The Uighur translation activities are reflected in various fields such as social politics, economy and trade, culture and education, and military diplomacy. With the changes of the times, the translation activities are strong and weak, their social status is high and low, but they never end. Uyghur translation history as an integral part of Chinese translation history should become an important research topic. For more than 60 years, apart from sporadic translation history theory, there is no more complete history of the Uighur translation history published. This phenomenon deserves our attention. This article outlines the development of the Uighur translation business over the past seventeen years.
