重庆云阳李家坝遗址是三峡库区一处不可多得的面积较大,保存较好,以商周至两汉六朝遗存为主,下及唐宋至明清各代遗存的大型遗址,是重庆三峡库区地下文物保护规划确定的多年度连续发掘的超大型考古发掘项目,在三峡考古中占有十分重要的地位。1999年10—12月对该遗址进行了第三次较大规模的发掘,发掘面积1600平方米。本报告重点报告了除遗址Ⅱ区巴文化墓地之外的先秦时期遗存发掘的新收获:共发掘灰坑10个、房址5座、灰沟1条,出土数以万计的陶片。根据地层单位的叠压打破关系和可辨型式的陶器口沿残片及其组合关系所显示出的期属意义,分为西周中晚期至春秋早期、春秋中晚期、战国至汉初三期,进一步证实了李家坝遗址商周时期聚落的布局和结构,进一步加深了对李家坝遗址先秦时期遗存文化性质和变迁的认识,对深入了解和认识李家坝遗址历代聚落布局和变迁以及先秦时期遗存的文化性质等提供了新的资料。
