December 27, 1985 China Institute of Aeronautics held a meeting of executive members in Beijing. President Ji Wenmei presided over the meeting. The report of the Secretary-General Wang Nanshou summarized the work of the Institute in 1985 and the work plan for 1986. In 1985, the Institute of Aeronautics held 58 academic conferences and exchanged over 3,000 papers. The Journal of Aeronautics was changed from a quarterly magazine to a bi-monthly magazine, and two editions of Aeronautical Journal Supplement (Aeronautical Engineering) were tried out and welcomed by readers ; Popular science and education
