Phenotypic analysis (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD16, CD25, CD56, Trδ) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and IL-6 were performed in 27 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), 17 cases of cirrhosis, and 15 normal controls. Tests were performed and graded for HCC patients according to the Child grading. The results showed that the ratios of CD3 and CD44/CD8 in peripheral blood and hepatic cirrhosis group were significantly lower than those in normal group (P<0.05). The decline of T cells in HCCChild class B group was more significant than that in group A; the levels of IL-6 and TNF were higher In the normal group (P <0.05). It is initially believed that the decreased CD3 and CD4 positive rates and the inversion of CD4/CD8 ratio can directly reflect the immune function of HCC, and the level of cellular immune function is directly related to the status of liver function.
