根据世界上３０８座水库资料，用灰色聚类法研究了长江三峡工程水库诱发地震的最大震级。结果表明，在坝址花岗岩体内诱发地震的震级不会高于４．０级；在庙河—香溪段、香溪—巴东库段诱发地震的最大震级不会高于５．０级。
Based on the data of 308 reservoirs in the world, the maximum magnitude of the earthquake induced by the Three Gorges Reservoir in the Three Gorges Project is studied by gray clustering method. The results show that the magnitude of the induced earthquake in the granite in the dam site will not be higher than 4.0. The maximum magnitude of the earthquake induced in the Miahe-Xiangxi Section and the Xiangxi-Padangku Section will not be higher than 5.0.
