Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy has proven to be an effective method of treating upper urinary tract stones, but it does no harm to human soft tissue. The authors reported the treatment of 14 patients under 17 with Dornier stone. For children below 135cm in height or under 30kg, barrel stand and water level adjustment and lung protection are necessary. Hospitalization time in 1 to 8 days, an average of 2.5 days, there is no serious intraoperative complications.
