The main goal of chemotherapy to control schistosomiasis is to reduce human morbidity to levels no longer endanger human public health. This goal is generally achieved when stool eggs in urinary insects are randomly tested for less than 50 / 10ml of urine in humans or less than 100 fecal eggs in humans infected with Schistosoma mansoni. According to the 70 years of experience in the control of schistosomiasis with chemotherapeutic agents, certain drugs are toxic and the development of safe and effective oral medicines in recent years has the potential to be a strategy for direct and rapid disease control. The following three drugs are currently effective to achieve this goal. Trichlorfon has special effects on schistosomes in Egypt. The standard dosage regimen is 7.5 ~ 10mg / kg body weight every 2 weeks
