十多年前,联邦德国陆军为了提高步兵战车的战斗力,曾要求设计制造比Rh202型20毫米火炮穿甲能力更强和射程更远的火炮。为此,毛瑟公司研制了Mk25E型25毫米机关炮。毛瑟Mk25E型机关炮的特点是: 采用导气式自动原理,其炮闩动作及供输弹都是借助于火药气体的推动。在重新装弹之前或击发完毕后,弹膛内无弹药,从而避免了炮管温度过高而产生膛内自燃的危险。火炮的所有活动机件,如复进簧、活塞和缓冲器等,均沿炮管轴线布置,因而消除了影响炮身运动
More than a decade ago, in order to increase the combat effectiveness of infantry fighting vehicles, the German Federal Army demanded the design and manufacture of artillery guns that were stronger and longer-ranged than the Rh202-type 20-mm artillery armor. To this end, Mauser company developed a Mk25E 25 mm machine guns. Mauser Mk25E type machine guns are characterized by: the use of gas-guided automatic principle, the gun action and for the missile are propelled by the propellant gas. Before reloading or after firing, there is no ammunition in the breech, so as to avoid the danger of high temperature of the breech tube resulting in spontaneous combustion in the breech. All artillery moving parts, such as recoil springs, pistons and bumpers, are arranged along the barrel axis, eliminating the effects of gun movement
