In recent years, since New Zealand popularized the poplar tree by tissue culture method successfully, the black poplar tree species were cultivated one after another and the poplar was under test. In 1978, we began to cultivate nursery stock by tissue culture method and in 1979, we cultivated truncatus aspen. Populus tomentosa Carr, var.trumcata Y.C.Fu et C.H.Wang Populus tomentosa is a variant of Populus tomentosa, leaf late, anti-leaf spot disease
