由于中国应试教育的机制,使得许多英语教师在授课的过程中太过注重单词的认知能力,而忽略了学生的口语能力。古语说:读书百遍,其义自见,可见,多读多说对字句的理解是十分重要的,尤其是英语,在实际生活中,口语比语法要实用的多,重要的多,所以,我认为,对学生英语的教导首先要从口语开始。在锻炼学生的口语方面,可以从这几点入手:1、愉快的教学,激发学生学习英语的兴趣;2、交流,是培养学生口语能力的最有效途径;3、教师的鼓励,是促使学生口语能力提高的动力;4、外部环境,提高英语口语能力的重要渠道。虽然说,对小学生口语的培养并非一朝一夕的事,但只要循序渐进,找对方法,可以使小学生在不知不觉中提高口语水平,树立起信心。
