珠带五湖清清水变霓虹虹桥连心池池中圆钓梦。——题记五大连池是火山喷发的熔岩流阻塞河道后形成的五个火山堰塞湖。1980版《辞海》云:“清康熙五十八年至六十年(1719～1721)玄武岩流阻塞纳谟尔河支流白河所形成。自南向北分为头池、二池、三池、四池、五池、衔按如串珠状,故名。”五大连池,山美水美鱼更美。2003版《旅游地理》P183载:“富饶的渔场有鲑鱼、雅罗鱼、鲌鱼等30多种。鳌花鱼、湖鲫是著名特产,鳌花鱼肉嫩味鲜,每条可重6斤,鲫鱼最大可达12斤。”
