只给中国文化留下修齐(内圣)的地盘,而将治平(外王)的领域全数让给西方的工商文明及其原则,正是“德治二元”之路的根本立足点。从吴虞到陈序经不断得到完善充实的“全盘西化”思潮,在差不多四分之一世纪里,成为最具影响力的文化建设模式。我们能够理解这一模式“恨铁不成钢”的激情及其强烈的民族自尊心,但却不赞同这一文化建设的新模式。我们所倡导的“德治二元”模式,与此一模式有根本重大的不同。“德治二元”模式不赞同“全盘西化”,当然也不赞同“中国本位”。

From Wu Yu to Chen Xujing, the thought of “complete Westernization” constantly improved and enriched became the most influential mode of cultural construction in almost a quarter of a century. We can understand the passion of this model of “turning iron into iron” and its strong national self-esteem, but do not agree with this new model of cultural construction. The mode of “rule of law and duality” advocated by us is fundamentally different from this model. The “Rule of Virtue, Dualism” mode disagrees with “total westernization,” and certainly not “Chinese standards.”
