“人镜”之说,人所共知。唐太宗李世民,选贤于群敌之中,重用魏征为谏议大夫。魏征每每犯上直谏而太宗不罪,且益加信赖,始有“贞观”之盛。公元643年魏征病死后,太宗伤悲至极,流着眼泪说:“铜镜能以正衣冠,史镜得以鉴兴亡,人镜可以正吾身,魏(?)一去,孤失人镜也。”此事自唐至今一千三百余载,一直为人们传为佳话,奉为楷模。戏曲艺术界何尝不知道“镜”的重要呢?在化妆室、练功厅里,乃至演员个人的起居间内,多嵌大镜于壁,专供演员“正戏”,此为“戏镜”。戏镜之设,用莫大焉。晚清时有位很有造诣的演员,他姿质浓粹,光彩照人,且喉音响亮,但演《赵氏孤儿》公孙杵臼时,每见
