新生代西部作家在消费时代仍捍卫着文学的尊严,在他们身上,体现了精英文学最后的圣洁与光芒,他们以普罗米修斯式的践行和苦行僧式的写作摧毁了“文学已经消失”的谬论。他们站在人道主义和集体主义的立场关切着西部大地上被文化规约着的人,书写着巨变时代西部人的灵魂变迁。他们的创作在强调文学的社会性、现实性与参与性的同时,尽力复现西部特有的文化气韵与人情世态,使西部文学传统得以延伸和拓展。新生代西部作家精神结构的别一指向是浪漫主义文学精神的再度兴起,而其潜在的意图则是以自然对抗都市文明所导致的人性异化,颠覆世俗生活的平庸与奢靡,有着鲜明的时代意义。新生代西部作家的文学活动与生命活动的高度融合,使他们有足够的耐力抵御文学的商品化所带来的文学性的流失和审美想象力的贫乏。同时论及了新生代西部作家所遭遇的种种困境,分析了他们走出困境的诸多可能,而他们走出困境的时刻也将是他们缔造经典的时刻。
The western writers of the Cenozoic still defend the dignity of literature in the consuming age, and embody the last holiness and glitter of the elite literature on them. The high integration of literary activities and life activities of the western writers of the new generation gave them enough endurance to resist the literary loss and the lack of aesthetic imagination brought about by the commodification of literature. At the same time, it discusses the difficulties encountered by the writers in the Western Cenozoic and analyzes the many possibilities that they have when they get out of their predicament. The moment when they get out of their predicament will also be the moment when they create the classics.
