1999年发生在台湾的集集地震,是战后台湾遭受到的最严重自然灾害.集集地震后发生了大量余震.使用较新的方法重新研究这次地震的余震,对于研究该地区的应力状况具有比较重要的意义.本文尝试用较新的“裁剪-粘贴”法反演并分析余震的震源机制解.本研究共反演了168个地震的震源机制解,其中5级以上地震12个,6级以上7个.本研究发现余震的震中位置和震级具有很强的相关性、而余震的震源机制普遍以走滑分量为主而不是和主震以倾滑为主.
The earthquake that occurred in Taiwan in 1999 was the most serious natural disaster that Taiwan suffered in the aftermath of the Taiwan War. A large number of aftershocks occurred after the Jiadian earthquake. The aftershocks of the earthquake were re-studied using newer methods and the study of stress in the area This paper attempts to use the newer “cut-and-paste” method to invert and analyze focal mechanism solutions of aftershocks.In this study, focal mechanism solutions of 168 earthquakes were retrieved, in which more than M5 earthquakes 12, and more than level 6. This study found that the epicenter location and magnitude of aftershocks have a strong correlation, while the focal mechanism of aftershocks generally dominated by strike-slip components rather than the main shock to tilt-based.
