Brooklyn, the most populous New York City district, with the earliest settlers being Dutch and later settlements for Jews, the Netherlands and Italian settlers. Since 1970, a large number of African immigrants and ethnic minorities have entered the country. Due to their low educational attainment in the history of the United States, employment difficulties and racial discrimination prevailed in the area, placing them in the highest crime rate areas in the United States. But for the last 10 years because of middle class, clear ethnic barriers and dramatic improvements in crime, Brooklyn is no longer equated with dangerous backwardness, replaced by a new paradise for influx of people, and Williamsburg is One of the typical representatives.
