农民画之于宁波,主要在象山、奉化和慈溪三地。慈溪农民画因其在构思、构图、造型、勾线、设色等方面的突出表现,以及强烈的泥土气息,近年来受到了越来越多的关注。优秀的慈溪农民画,或奔放、或粗犷、或凝练,总能在朱红与翠绿的热情之中,看到画家们对生活的热爱,对新事物的讴歌,以及心底那抹深邃而浓烈的乡愁。难怪中国美术家协会副主席、著名油画家肖峰就曾评价说:“慈溪农民画蕴藏着一种无可估量的生命力”。
