200年前,晋商的商号已经遍布中国各大城市,远及西伯利亚、东南亚甚至欧洲等地,直到19世纪末20世纪初仍执中国金融界之牛耳,达到鼎盛。但是它又在很短的时间内衰落了,这使我们不禁会问晋商兴起的原因是什么,为什么又很快衰落了呢?
200 years ago, the merchants of Shanxi Merchants have spread all over major cities in China and far away from Siberia, Southeast Asia and even Europe. Until the late 19th and early 20th centuries, they still held the forefront of the Chinese financial community.
