中国人民解放军海军诞生地纪念馆位于泰州市高港区白马镇。1949年4月23日,以张爱萍任司令员兼政委的华东军区海军司令部在白马镇境内的白马庙成立,中国人民解放军从此有了自己的海军。1989年,中央军委正式确定“1949年4月23日”为中国人民解放军海军诞生日,白马庙为海军诞生地。值此纪念中国人民解放军海军诞生60周年之际,记者在泰州市党史办工作人员的陪同下,参观了海军诞生地纪念馆,探寻了海军发展的历史轨迹。
The Memorial Hall of the Navy’s Birthplace of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is located in Baima Town, Gaogang District, Taizhou City. On April 23, 1949, the Baima Temple in the town of Baima was established with the naval command of East China Military Region commanded by Zhang Aiping and commander of the political commissar. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has its own navy since then. In 1989, the Central Military Commission formally established “April 23, 1949” as the birth date of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy. The White Horse Temple was the birthplace of the Navy. In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the birth of the PLA Navy, the reporter visited the Memorial Hall of the Navy’s Birthplace with the staff of the Party History Office of Taizhou City and explored the historical trajectory of the Navy’s development.
