It has been nearly 40 years since our military’s joint logistics was proposed in 1952. Accelerating the pace of joint logistics is an important aspect of deepening logistics reform. Based on the long-term practice of grassroots work, the author makes some superficial comments on rationalizing the funding standards, operating mechanism of joint logistics and related logistics management. (I) Joint logistics support can improve the effectiveness of logistical support for joint operations during wartime and can in the usual time enhance the economic and management efficiency of logistics support. At present, although our army has different opinions on the specific methods of joint logistics, our understanding of the significance and superiority of joint logistics is basically the same.
