人品是人在社会生活中表现出来的基本和一贯的品行、品德和品质。人品作为一定的世界观、人生观、价值观,以及更为具体的地位观、权力观、荣辱观、义利观、家庭观、事业观的体现,对社会生活和政治生活有着重要的影响。共产党员特别是领导干部的人品,在不同程度上关系到党的事业和形象,关系到党与人民群众的血肉联系,关系到党的执政能力和党的先进性。因此,总结保持共产党员先进性教育活动的经验,应该把人品作为对共产党员和领导干部的基本要求。要把人品这个概念引入党的生活中来,作为党的先进性建设的一项重要内容,加强共产党员和领导干部的道德修养和人品建设。要提请全党更加注意党员的道德修养和人品建设问题。考察选拔干部时,更加注重人品状况,严格把好人品关。加强对党员、干部的人品教育,在人品上提出严格的要求。加强党员、干部自身的人品修养,做到自重、自省、自警、自励。
Character is the basic and consistent character, character and quality that people show in social life.
