According to the economic conditions of 24 participating countries published by the Economic Cooperation and Development Agency (OECD) on June 1, 1993, the actual growth rate of domestic gross domestic product (GDP) in 1993 was 1.0%. This low growth is revised down 1.3% from the forecast of 2.3% released in December last year. However, the forecast for 1994 is revised up by 3.3% from the previous forecast by 0.2%.
