本文针对非英语专业教师在大学英语教学课堂上频频使用一语,即中文授课的现象,研究了教师究竟在什么时候、什么情景下最有可能转而使用一语进行教学。对五位来自云南大学的英语教师进行了课堂实地观察,发现教师在讲授语法、发出教学指令或对学生课堂活动进行评论、解释词汇和短语意义、给出翻译练习四种情况下最有可能使用一语进行教学。研究的同时还发现五位教师一语的使用具有很大的随意性,缺乏连贯性。最后本文对大学英语教师在什么时候可以使用一语进行课堂教学提出了一些建议。
This article aims at the frequent use of non-English major teachers in college English teaching class, that is, the phenomenon of Chinese teaching to study the teacher when and under what circumstances most likely to turn to the use of the term teaching. Five English teachers from Yunnan University conducted field observations in the classroom and found that teachers are most likely to use grammar or instructional instruction or comment on students’ classroom activities to explain the meaning of words and phrases. A language for teaching. The study also found that the use of the five teachers has a lot of randomness, lack of coherence. Finally, this article puts forward some suggestions on when college English teachers can use the phrase for classroom teaching.
