由外语教学与研究出版社出版 ,应惠兰主编的《新编大学英语》去年在我国部分高等院校试用。该教材侧重对学生读、说、听、写、译综合能力的培养 ,在英语教学思想、教学模式方面引发的新思维、新变化 ,预示了目前公共英语教学改革的趋势。本文以《大学英语教学大纲》为出发点 ,论述了《新编大学英语》教材的特点 ,详细分析了该教材在我院 99级使用情况 ,旨在为普通高等院校公共英语教材的选用探索出一个切实可行的方案
Published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, New College English, edited by Hui Whelan, was piloted at some institutions of higher learning in China last year. The textbook focuses on the cultivation of comprehensive abilities of reading, speaking, listening, writing and translating. The new thinking and new changes in English teaching thinking and teaching mode foreshadow the trend of public English teaching reform. Based on the “Syllabus for College English”, this paper discusses the characteristics of “New College English” teaching materials, analyzes the use of the materials in Class 99 in our hospital in detail, and explores the selection of common English teaching materials for colleges and universities A practical solution
