以称钩河流域为研究对象,对坝系工程建设、拦水蓄水、工程安全等方面进行监测。监测结果显示,流域内水土流失治理程度达到66.06%,骨干坝、中型坝、小型坝结构比为1∶1.1∶1.6;由于2007年新建淤地坝数量较多,对其控制范围内的土壤扰动大,易引起水土流失,所以2008年坝系拦沙率较高,为30.27%;由于不再引水灌溉,2007年以后用水变化率明显减小;淤地坝坝体及泄水建筑物完好、运行正常,近期没有出现病险坝和毁坏坝。坝系工程建设模式基本合理,建成后称钩河流域整体拦沙率达到99.38%,基本做到了泥不出沟,发挥了显著的生态、社会和经济效益。
