毛主席谆谆教导我们:“虚心使人进步,骄傲使人落后”。徐寅生同志充分体现了毛主席这一光辉的思想。徐寅生在屡次重大国际比赛中,所以能取得巨大成就,为祖国爭得了光荣,建立了功勋,正是由于他经常不断的总结经验,接受教训,在“学人之长,克己之短”的基础上,“有所发现、有所发明、有所创造、有所前进”的结果。我在档案工作中也亲身体验到,要想使工作不断前进,就必须经常做番实事求是的总结工作。在总结工作中要特别找出不如人家的地方,再千方百计地把人家的长处学来变为自己的,才能不断改进工作提高工效。

In my archives work, I also personally experienced that in order to keep moving forward, we must always make the summary work of seeking truth from facts. In summarizing the work, we should find a place that is inferior to other people in particular and make every effort to transform the strengths of other people into ourselves so as to continuously improve our work and enhance the work efficiency.
