“红皮本”文学史作为思想和批判运动的产物,不再引起文学史研究者更多的兴趣。该文学史在对许多文学作品的阐释中无视文学本身的特性,将阶级立场作为分析文学作品的首要依据,也显得荒唐。但是其关于思想内容和艺术成就两分的编写体例,却保留下来了,成为了文学史研究的一种新模式。今天简单地用阶级和阶级斗争的立场、观点来分析文学作品的批评方式也不时兴了,但是一个时代在思想观念上留下的印迹却是那样地深刻和刺目,以致成为半个世纪来中国文学史写作的通行模式。
As the product of thought and critical movement, literary history no longer arouses more interest in researchers of literary history. The literary history, in its interpretation of many literary works, ignores the characteristics of literature itself. It is absurd to regard class stand as the primary basis for analyzing literary works. However, its writing style of dichotomy about ideological content and artistic achievement has survived and has become a new model for the study of literary history. It is also not fashionable to analyze the literary criticism simply by using the position and viewpoint of the class and class struggle today. However, the imprint left by the ideological concepts of an era is so profound and dazzling that it has become a half-century period for China The Passing Pattern of Literary History Writing.
