国家社会科学“八五”规划项目《现代汉语方言大词典》分地点方言词典《苏州方言词典》已正式出版。1993年12月23日,苏州市民主促进会市委邀请学术界对新出版的词典进行座谈。出席会议的有大学教师、语言学家、苏昆剧团和评弹团艺人、地方志编写人员、报纸杂志社编辑和作家,共二十余人。《现代汉语方言大词典》领导小组成员、副主编缪咏禾编审,领导小组成员、副主编、《苏州方言词典》编纂人叶祥苓教授也参加了会议。 到会专家充分肯定了编纂出版各地方言词典的意义。他们认为,各地的方言积累着大量的社会、历史、民俗、文学资料,把这些资料用词典的形式系统地整理出来,成为可以检索的工具书,对于研究和整理历史文化,发扬精神文明,具有重大意义,是一项文化建设的基础工程。
National Social Science “Eighth Five-Year Plan Project” Modern Chinese Dialect Dictionary “sub-site dialect dictionary” Suzhou dialect dictionary "has been officially published. December 23, 1993, Suzhou Municipal Committee for the promotion of democracy invited the academic community to the newly published dictionary for discussion. Attending the meeting were university teachers, linguists, performers of Su Kun Theater and Pingtan Mission, writers of local chronicles, editors and writers of newspapers and magazines, a total of more than 20 people. Member of the Leading Group of Modern Chinese Dialect Dictionary, Associate Editor of Editor Meng Yonghe, Leading Group Member and Associate Editor, and Prof. Ye Xiangling, Compiler of Suzhou Dialect Dictionary, also attended the meeting. The experts attending the meeting fully affirmed the significance of compiling and publishing various dialect dictionaries throughout the country. They think that dialects in various places accumulate a large amount of social, historical, folk and literary materials, and systematically sort them out in the form of dictionaries to become searchable reference books. For the study and collation of historical culture and spiritual civilization, The great significance is a basic project of cultural construction.
