曾经的德甲联赛, 被称为“欧洲四大联赛之一”,与意甲、西甲和英超齐名,同时,德甲中也拥有国际级的超一流球星助阵,仅仅德国国籍的球星就足以吸引众多球迷的眼球,克林斯曼、马特乌斯、巴斯勒、海因里希、埃芬博格、萨默尔等等。曾经的多特蒙德队笑傲欧洲足坛,曾经的拜仁慕尼黑队在欧洲赛场扬眉吐气,德甲球队的实力与财力丝毫不逊色于其他联赛的豪门球队。但是近几年,德甲联赛越来越走下坡路,本国球星培养不力,各俱乐部的财政紧缩,使得他们无法花更多的钱买大牌球员,因此德甲联赛的吸引力也随之下降。在今年年中欧足联的一次积分评比中,德甲联赛已经跌出“欧洲五大联赛”的行列,以前德甲排名第四位,法甲排名第五,而现在法甲升至第四位,葡超跃升到第五位,把德甲挤到了第六位。而在最新一次的国际足联全球各国联赛评比中,德甲联赛已经跌落到第八位,除了欧洲五大联赛之外,德甲联赛的积分甚至还不如南美的阿根廷联赛和中北美的墨西哥联赛。曾经享誉全球的德甲联赛,短时间内居然沦落到如此地步,令人费解、令人深思……
