The second meeting of the Hunan Provincial Institute of Automation was held on October 20, 1987 at the Hunan Provincial Institute of Computing. A total of 60 delegates attended the conference, and the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Provincial Computer Society, the Provincial Institute of Electronics, and the Provincial Institute of Computational Mathematics and Software were invited to send representatives.
