叶圣陶(1894～1988),现代著名作家、语文教育家、编辑家、出版家、政治活动家,我国第一位童话作家。新中国成立后,曾任出版总署署长,教育部副部长兼人民教育出版社社长、中央文史研究馆馆长,全国政协副主席。出版了童话集《稻草人》以及小说集《隔膜》、《火灾》等。叶圣陶有三个孩子,至善、至美,最小的叫至诚。这三个孩子后来个个成才。叶圣陶先生教育子女的方法却是十分简单,他对孩子们实施的是一种“顺其自然”的教育方式,当然,顺其自然并不是甩手不管,而是充满匠心地修枝整叶,让他们更好地成长。
