稻瘟病是水稻的主要病害,每年的发病面积占日本播种水稻面积的40%多,仅农药费用每年高达五亿美元以上。为了预防,日本北陆稻作研究中心将卷心菜、白菜等蔬菜中制造有机抗菌作用蛋白体的基因移植入水稻细胞中,培育出来的蔬菜基因水稻能抵抗稻瘟病等多种病害,而且这种抗病性可以遗传给下一代水稻,这就大幅度减轻了水稻的受灾程度和降低了农药的费用,同时对农业生态环境也大有益处。(张泽)
