The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the American Association of International People’s Letters have officially launched the China Breast Cancer Prevention Project in Beijing to raise awareness of Chinese women on regular self-examination, physical examination and breast cancer prevention. The first phase of this project, advocacy, is aimed at raising women’s awareness of the dangers of breast cancer, prevention and the importance of early detection; the second phase, to be launched in 2003,
