为进一步贯彻国务院《放射性同位素与射线装置放射防护条例》,保障我县放射工作人员和公众健康,迎接卫生部于年底对我县放射卫生综合监督管理示范县工作验收,武进县卫生局在1992年10月23日～27日首次举办了全县78个单位、137名放射工作人员参加的放射防护知识培训班。
