如果从副机对主机接通外线和其它各种功能的控制方式上区分,无绳电话机可以分成导频控制和微处理器控制两类。前者是早期使用的控制方式,副机通过发出导频信号使主机接通外线;后者是用微处理器实现主副机的相互联通和自身内部的控制。(微处理器的英文缩写是MCU,故后者也称为MCU无绳电话机。)两者相比,后者通话质量好、使用功能多、防盗性能也好,随着集成屯路价格的下降,当今生产和销售的无绳电话大多已采用MCU技术了。
