Three years ago, Taipei’s “Palace Museum” Dean Zhou Gongxin led a delegation to visit the Forbidden City in mainland China for the first time to open the cultural exchanges between the two sides of the Forbidden City. That year, the number of visitors to Taipei for the Forbidden City reached 3.44 million for the first time and to 3.84 million for 2010.
