溧阳市溧城镇党校针对地处城市、部门单位多、行业种类全、党员数量多的特点,几年来,从提高办学能力着手,改进办学形式,以党校为主体,以党员活动室为补充,探索了一条扩大党校教育覆盖面的新路子,有效地发挥了基层党校的潜力。截止1990年底他们先后举办了各种培训班86期,培训、轮训党员干部和各种业务骨干3886人次,其中支委以上干部每年轮训2—3次,普通党员参训率每年都在97.3％以上。连续多年被评为县先进基层党校,被授予常州市先进基层党校和省先进基层党校。他们的具体做法是:
For many years, from the perspective of improving the ability of running schools, Liyang Town Party School of Liyang Municipality aims at improving the schooling style with Party schools as the mainstay and Party members’ activity rooms as the supplement, in view of the characteristics of many cities, departments and units, various types of industries and large numbers of Party members. A new way of expanding the coverage of Party school education has effectively brought into play the potential of grassroots party schools. By the end of 1990, they had held 86 training courses, trained 3886 cadres and trained cadres of all kinds of business, of whom more than 2,300 rotation training sessions each year. The attendance rate of ordinary party members is over 97.3% annually .
