佛教历史悠久,在中国拥有众多信众。自古以来,佛门就是清净之地,过去一般由宗教界实行自主管理,但近些年来实际情况日益复杂,在闽南地区,很多寺庙的管理权掌握在非宗教人士手中,带来许多矛盾和不良的社会影响。这些寺庙通常由当地乡贤、名流、宗族权威者、经济实力雄厚者实际掌控着,僧人丧失了对寺庙生活的主动权,不得不在各方面听命、让步于实际享有管理权
Buddhism has a long history and many believers in China. Since ancient times, Buddhism was a land of cleanliness. Although Buddhism was generally administered by the religious circles in the past, the actual situation has become increasingly complicated in recent years. In southern Fujian, many monasteries are in the hands of non-religious people, causing many contradictions and poor social influence. These temples are generally under the control of local township virtues, celebrities, clan authorities, and economic strength.
