18 51年因反抗清政府残酷政治压迫和经济剥削揭竿而起的太平天国农民运动 ,已经过去了整整一个半世纪。这场中国历史上最后一次蔚为壮观的旧式农民革命 ,自金田举义而东乡建制 ,至天京定都而终归失败 ,前后仅存 14个年头 ,真可谓其兴也勃 ,其亡也忽 ,给后人留下了极为宝贵而深刻的经验教训。本刊组织的以“太平天国失败内因多维透视”为题的学术笔谈 ,正是为了发掘和总结这份历史遗产 ,以纪念 150年前的中国近代解放运动的先驱者们
It has been a century and a half since the peasant movement of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was struck in 51 by the brutal political oppression and economic exploitation against the Qing government. The last spectacular transformation of the old peasant revolution in China’s history started with the establishment of Dongdaemun Jintian Memorial System and the establishment of a capital city of Tianjing. After 14 days of existence, it was indeed flourishing. , To the posterity has left a very valuable and profound experience and lessons. Our academic writing entitled “Multidimensional Perspective of the Failure of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom” is precisely for the purpose of discovering and summarizing this historical heritage to commemorate the pioneers of the Chinese modern liberation movement 150 years ago
